It’s official. The ice went out on Lake Iroquois this afternoon, April 1. Around the lake, this marks the true begining of spring. Along with the disappearing ice, the crocuses are blooming and the daffodils are popping up. However, the water is certainly very cold, so don’t plan on pulling your bathing suit out just yet. If you do venture out on the water, make sure you have warm clothes and proper safety gear. Happy Spring!
